I have taken pictures since I was 10 years old. With digital cameras I nowadays take tons of pictures everytime when I travel. Why? Because I want to capture the experience of seeing. I want to share what I see.

I am also interested in history. In the future, our current present times will be history. It is enjoyable to view our present times through the eyes of a future observer - in the same way as we do now with the past.

I am Professor of Creative Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University and am interested in technology/software development for human-computer interaction systems. This includes computer vision, augmented reality, and autonomous road vehicles.
