Three Songs, No Flash!
A collection of photographs from the pit, festival fields & music venues around the world
by Digital Pyrotechnics
The stern mantra drummed into every photographer entering pit-work for most major gigs & festivls and in some situations the sum total of the conversation between the venue's security guards and the technologically laden down photographer.
It's an understandable requirement albeit frustrating, but it is what gets the adrenalin flowing and keeps the photographer on their toes! Thankfully not all venues, situations insist upon it.
We are the ones that help provide you, in our humble role, with the visceral thrill when you open a magazine and see your favourite performer looking back out at you. We are the unseen - searching for that imperative moment of that performance for the pride of seeing our contribution in the public arena - and to be honest, we wouldnt have it any other way!
