About the Book
On his way to what he thought was an evening jazz concert at the Gibbs Theatre at Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg, Florida - little did he know that friends, family members and hundreds of supporters were gathered there for a special jazz concert celebrating his life.
For Frank, the event was a total surprise. As he walked into the theatre that night, he was greeted with cheers and applause. What followed was a night of celebration for a man loved by so many. As music so familiar was played by the Frank T. Williams III All Star Jazz Ensemble, the Williams Jazz Trio, and the Alumni and Friends Concert Band, and stories were shared, all in attendance reminisced of moments remembered with their beloved mentor, teacher and friend.
Relive those moments over and over again through the pages of this commemorative book, Celebrating Frank!, featuring documentary photography from Frank's special night by award-winning photojournalist Candace C. Mundy.

As a multiple award-winning photojournalist in Virginia and Florida, and a National Newspaper Association first place award recipient, I have over 30 years of experience in the field of multimedia journalism at its finest. For over twenty years I have been a well-respected visual journalist here in the Tampa bay area as a photographic artist for The Tampa Tribune, tbo.com, WFLA News Channel 8, and now my own company, Focus From The Heart, photographic art. Throughout my career, my photographs have appeared in national publications including TIME Magazine, National Geographic Travel Guide, LIFE A Year in Pictures and The Associated Press. My love of photography began when I was just five years old - the day that I found my mother's Kodak Brownie camera for the first time! It is my love for people and my love of photographic art, as seen through the eyes of my heart, that come together to bring passion to my work as a lifestyles photographic artist.
