About the Creator
Joe Louis Lovett Jr. (born October 7, 1969) Joe Lovett has been exhibiting his paintings since 1999 in various group shows in Michigan, including ©POP Gallery, Detroit, MI; Del Gallery, Lathrup Village, MI; Jefferson East Cool Cities Lounge Nite, Detroit, MI; Detroit Contemporary, Detroit, MI; The Scarab Club, Detroit, MI; 212 Gallery, Ann Arbor, MI. In addition, his works are in collections nationally and internationally including, Ft. Pierce, FL, Vero Beach, FL, Ann Arbor, MI, Los Angeles, CA, Grand Rapids, MI, Ressford, Ohio, Seattle, WA, Accra, Ghana, West Africa, The Republic of Suriname, South America and Charlotte, NC. Mr. Lovett has most recently published a book of poetry quotes and illustrations, and is currently working on various publishing projects, as well as a new series of paintings. Joe Lovett was born in Fayetteville, NC, (Fort Bragg) in 1969. He received an Associates degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
