About the Book
When I first began this book it was meant as a historical record of the beginnings of the Montréal based Québec Saints Australian football club. It has since expanded into a part-record, part-story and part-photo album of my almost four years of Aussie Rules footy in North America in which I spent over 40,000 kilometres on the road throughout Canada and the United States. The numbers and statistics in the book are for future Québec Saints footballers to build on, the stories are to preserve memories that will fade in time and the photos are to remind me of the faces of friends that became my family 17,000 kilometres from home, a family I shared the experience of a lifetime with – one I will never forget.
