My personal photographic journey through Washington DC, Fredericksburg and California during twelve days in April 2008.
Ian Brodie is an accomplished author and photographer based in the rural town of Matamata, in the North Island of New Zealand.
His love of country, film, photography and warbirds have combined to produce some remarkable books and images. He has appeared on a number of television programmes and regularly escorts international media around his country.
In June 2005 he became a Member of the NZ Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to writing and tourism.
A photographer from age seven when his father bought him an "Instamatic" for Christmas, Ian has had a camera to his eye ever since.
His aviation photos have been published in books and magazines world-wide.
Images of Middle-earth Aotearoa for his Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook have seen him accepted as a talented landscape photographer. His photos have appeared world-wide in magazines, books, posters and on billboards.
