2008 was a very memorable year for preserved British Steam with the comeback of 'Scots Guardsman' and the farewell of 'Green Arrow'.
It was also the 40th Anniversary of the 'Fifteen Guinea' and steam returned to the Aberglaslyn Pass in Wales.
No. 76079 made an appearance on the annual Scottish Bash.
There were many more days with great weather for action on preserved lines and the main line.
