About the Book
This book is a tribute to the vanishing roadside culture of America in the 1950's and 1960's. Mary Anne Erickson has been documenting her favorite roadside attractions for over 30 years and she presents some of her favorite paintings in this book, along with brief commentaries on their current status.
Artist, photographer, and writer Mary Anne Erickson combines her love for evocative landscapes, vibrant color, and strong design into all her imagery. She brings her passion, curiosity, and keen eye to every creative endeavor. "Impressions of India" reveals ethereal images from her 2014 trip through northern India. Her other book, "Greetings from Vanishing America" documents her artwork in praise of our roadside culture from the past.
