I began as an art educator, then changed directions to a missionary in Kenya E. Africa for nearly two decades with my husband and family. Returning to the USA, I began the journey I am presently on, exploring and discovering how to make art inspired by Scripture, experiences, emotions and the environment around me.

I'm passionate about developing community and encouraging other artists to follow their calling as an artist. I find my creative process to be a source of stability and contentment. The making of images is a sacrificial and contemplative process, responding to and internalizing the words, emotions and experiences that are part of my continuing sojourn as an artist.
