NASA's imagery can serve as an inspiring base from which kids can discover the wonders of science. This volume is written for a science academy for Navajo kids. Four weeks long, the academy addresses four topics: geology, astronomy, botany, and radio science with the GAVERT project. The objective of this volume and academy is to help provide a bridge between (a) scientific terminology; (b) English lay terminology; (c) Navajo vocabulary for the same things. The GAVERT project is not included in this written volume.
