About the Book
The simple pleasures of life and living can only be discovered with keen observation and author/photographer Benard Quek takes you on a journey of discovery in the former Portuguese colony of Macau.
Propelled into the world stage as the new found capital of casino gaming, Macau is changing and as the city learns to come to terms with its new found image in the world of high stakes gambling, much of the old landscape will be lost.
The charming city is revealed in its true form, away from the glitzy persona that it is now famous for. If you have never been to Macau, then this book will open your eyes to its charm and history as well as its mix of western and easten cultures.
