Taken December 2008 thru November 2010, the photographs in this book were all created using a first generation iPhone (model no. A1203).
The picture above is of my father, Alan Metnick. He uses a Leica M2, which he's had forever. I like this picture because it reminds me that, while growing up watching him take photos, I learned to constantly look around, and, much as he does, habitually fall behind the people I'm walking with. His photographs can be seen online at www.alanmetnick.com. Other photos of mine can be seen at www.blandscape.org.
This book is a collection of pictures taken while going about in New York City and occasional travels elsewhere. Many of the images were edited using iPhone apps, usually one of the following; TiltShiftGen, Mill Colour, or PhotoForge. Others were adjusted in Lightroom to make sure they printed well. The cover photo was made using my new iPhone 4 (model A1332).
