the images in this book tell the story of intensive personal encounters between the Vietnamese people and me, the photographer.

they are not simply snapshots but a testimony of intimate moments during a spontaneous and intense contact between the two of us. this intensity is reflected in the images and gives them their depth.

as a professional press photographer it is important to me, to attribute the personalities in the pictures with their name and with the coordinates of the shooting location.
