It's been said that Sande Jones-Elkins captures the spirit of the horse with her camera. She'll modestly say that she doesn't know about that but she does know that being surrounded by horses in the early hours of the day brings her more joy and peace than she can describe in words so she lets her camera do the talking. Sande made her living as a wood sculptor and free-lance designer for over twenty-five years and then, six years ago, she received a gift from her husband, Steve, that would change her life, a beautiful, dappled gray horse named Mouse. Mouse has become her muse and inspiration and led her into new artistic vistas. This book expresses her love for a gray horse and a compassion for all equines and their free and gentle spirits which she illuminates with her photography.
