The photographs in this book were taken over the period of 2009 and 2010. All material for this work came from a small stretch of ocean coastline at Blairgowrie backbeach, in a tiny bay where Jessie McPherson's Rock protrudes into the ocean. At this location there are many rockpools, both shallow and deep, calm and angry.
All photographs were taken with a Pentax *istD digital SLR camera. No post processing or manipulation has occurred in Photoshop, except for brightness and contrast adjustments; the images truly represent actual characteristics of water under various conditions.
