there was sarah, bored and bad-tempered. she prepared for going out to dance by reading about dance steps. she also refused to smile, since we arrived in new york and i think, it was not because she forgot the how-to-smile-guide at home. then there was charly, her smile scattered with big chunks of sadness, like in those ice-creams with huge pieces of chocolate in it. and after all alex, who was like in those movies, where you meet somebody, who is a ghost, back on earth on a mission, but, of course, you don’t know about it and he can’t tell you, because if he talks, he will be banned back into his past forever by the old witch.
luckily, we were in new york and not in hollywood. still something had to be done. so with some help of coco loco, i did not only found out, that every man, who undresses on the streets of new york, wears the same underwear, but also invented a stunning new method, called „awesomization“ that has to be kept as a secret in its details (it works a little like the „care bear stare“, with which in the eighties little bears battled the freeze machine or fought in the land without feelings).
so this book is a very special diary. everything in it really happened. however it would not have happened, if it wasn't pushed by the idea of creating an awesome memory.
