Indra is a collection of images taken throughout amazing, spiritual and undefinable India. I was very lucky to visit five main areas, New Delhi, Dharamsala, Benares, Sarnath and Bodh Gaya. These places are of very high significance to Buddhists, pilgrims travel from all over the world to visit.
Dharamsala is where His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Refugee community reside. It is situated in the North, in the beginning of the Himalayas. Trekking for even a few days in the mountains leaves one in awe of the natural beauty. The locals live in small villages or as nomadic mountain shepherds. Benares and Sarnath are where the Buddha first expounded his teachings. Bodh Gaya is the site where he sat under the bodhi tree and gained enlightenment. Delhi needs no introduction and is as busy and chaotic as I had imagined.
MJH photography aims to provide a personal service tailored to your individual needs. I like to rely on using the natural lighting available at the time. This helps to create a more uncomplicated and distinctive look. It is both challenging and fun to capture an image that conveys an individuals personality. A moment of this life that can be kept and cherished.
