Nature in The Netherlands is about culture.
Trees are pure nature and they represent culture.
Therefore, two rows of beech trees in a wooded area are nature and also a clue to history.
They form an old border in the nature reserve Planken Wambuis which is now meaningless.
This book is an photographic investigation of this remarkable border.
It is also an ode to decline.
In a book containing 120 pages , 118 photo’s and little text ( dutch)
The book is also available in large landscape.
