What are your early memories of food? Chances are, they are linked to your mother. She was the one who fed you at birth, and continued to feed you in one way or another throughout your life. In addition to feeding us well, our Mom also taught my three brothers and me how to cook. And, aside from the basic lessons of measuring, tasting and timing, she instilled in each of us an appreciation for good food. Good food can be found anywhere – from simple church supper casseroles to complicated and show-stopping desserts. But in our family, it was never about fancy, it was about how good it tasted.
This book is not the definitive tome of the world's newest and best recipes; it is simply a collection of family recipes that were always made with love.
