About the Ebook
Here is a selection of artistic photograph taken in Europe by author and photographer Robert A. Parker. Areas visited include the British Isles, Norway, Copenhagen, Paris, the Alps, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, and Italy. Parker's purpose here is not to capture every familiar landmark in these locations but rather only those images which caught his eye, capture the essence of a scene, or contain, for him, artistic harmony. Each location is accompanied by a brief verbal reflection that complements the visual images.
Robert A. Parker has been an active writer and photographer for more than 40 years. He has won national awards as a director of publications for corporate magazines, and his free-lance writing has appeared in The New York Times and major consumer magazines. He has also exhibited award-winning photos in the New York/New Jersey area, including with his wife Margot at both the Venezuelan Consulate and the Donnell Library in Manhattan, plus at Brookdale Community College, Freehold, and New Providence Memorial Library. His work has also been shown at The Donald B. Palmer Museum, Springfield, Sussex County Community College, and the Arts Guild of Rahway.
