Thomas Yeseta was called to serve his country in February 1943. Tom spent the war in the 80th Infantry Division of General Patton’s famed 3rd Army, which “advanced further in less time than any other army in history.” Yet his account is down-to-earth, poignant, and movingly personal. Like so many other young boys fighting in World War II, he learned and remembered much, and now his written memories can offer future generations the same gift.
