This book is the catalog of the exhibition called "Following the steps of Emmanuel Bove". And a way to prolonge it.
It's also an invitation to discover the text "Becon-les-Bruyères" written in 1927 by Emmanuel Bove, the "most famous unknown french writer". It's an invitation to walk down the streets of this west Paris suburb's place, where the writer lived when he was young.
In all the photographs, we can see the ghost or the portrait of Emmanuel Bove : his soul still lives in Becon-les-Bruyères, even 85 years later. In a way, he never left this suburb, described in his book like many characters of his novels : lost people, always between two sides (good and bad, city and country, nice, funny, sad and desesperate, stucked to the fatality...)
