About the Book
Marcus Brierley's Paris is not a book of beautiful views or scenic impressions. This captures the human art which fills the galleries, the streets, the markets and the landmarks.
Images of Paris in this book were captured with a Ricoh GRD II pocket camera.
Marcus Brierley is a specialist in reality and action photography. While he frequently has a "mind's eye" concept of an image he would like to make, he does not usually set up shots. Instead, he looks to explore sight lines, getting into place, lingering a little - and sometimes the right circumstances present themselves. Sometimes they don't, and then - sometimes there's something better he wasn't expecting.
