Postcards from Ottawa compiles photographs taken over a period of two years since I moved to the Capital in 2009. Ottawa has been a place of inspiration in my development as a photographer.
People who have visited Ottawa, and those who might have received a postcard from a friend or a relative may find some familiar scenes. However, the collection also includes photographs with an abstract look at urban life in Ottawa.
If similar emotions to those experienced when receiving a postcard, or even when sending one are evoked when browsing through this book, then the purpose of this project has been accomplished.
