In photographing the defunct Bethlehem Steel Plant in Pennsylvania, Don Rothman discovered his father's palpable presence. This book describes a son's revision of a no-longer adequate story about his father, expressed through evocative photographs, an introductory essay, and an afterword, in the form a letter to his father.
