About the Book
Tae Kwon Do means, literally, “The Art (or Way) of Kicking and Punching”. It is a hard, linear style that uses powerful blocks, punches and kicks to overcome an opponent. The Moo Duk Kwan (School of Martial Virtue) was founded in 1945 by Grandmaster Hwang Kee. The Moo Duk Kwan was one of the original 9 Kwans whose unification lead to the development of modern Tae Kwon Do. With over 430 pictures, a Students Guid to Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan is a detailed guide for students of the art as passed down by Grandmaster Bobby Kim and Chief Instructor C.R. Valdez and includes all material needed for advancement to Black Belt.
