I wanted to document my pregnancy with my first child in a fun way that would help me look fondly back on all the changes and be a love letter to my future baby. I took photos and notes every week of what I was up to instead of just the "belly" shot and it will be a special remembrance of that time when I felt so great and full of a new life.

I LOVE this book! My youngest daugher was born about two weeks before your baby...I think it's time to do a maternity album as she just turned two! Love the simplistic design, the fabulous pictures and all the doodles. Are those hand drawn by you?

I used booksmart and set up a left and a right handed template (where the words were) and saved them. That way the margin and above and below the text was consistent. Saved them to My Page Layouts. Then when I added the words for each week, I tweaked the page layout to make the image box more narrow and widen the text box until it filled to the last line. Hope that makes sense.
