About the Creator
Joey Herron
Fairmont, West Virginia, USA
I have been birding and doing field research for over 50 years. I am a certified Master Bird Bander with the U.S. Geological Survey under the Department of the Interior. I currently run banding projects for spring and fall migrants at Prickett's Fort State Park, and for Northern Saw-whet Owls at Valley Falls State Park, both in Marion County, West Virginia. I enjoy sharing my bird sightings through photography with the public so they can appreciate the same things I see in the field. My wish is that people of all ages can see and experience the outdoors as I do by seeing it in my photography and making it available by doing photo books.
