This is a small collection of my favorite photos that portray Ulaanbaatar in the one week I spent there in April 2008.
The city is home to the Cameco Mongolia office where I spent time upgrading the IT infrastructure and improved the functionality of the client computers. The main purpose of the office in Mongolia is to explore for the possibilities of Uranium found in the country.
It was a quick visit, but memorable.
I have the passion for photography and tech background to be a guru with imaging software. Landscapes come naturally to me (pun intended) and I continue to diversify my expertise and knowledge by trying new areas of photography such as portraits, macro, sport and much more. I love all of the software products available to take your average photos from boring to Wow! I am an expert with my favorite products including LightRoom, PhotoShop, Nik’s Suite, onOne’s Perfect Photo Suite, PhotoMatix and many others. Plugins these days are all the rage and I am a big fan of anything that can save me time in my digital darkroom workflow.
