Working in color without inhibition and in black and white with authority, Jeremy Green is known for making graphically simple images with impact and visual sophistication. Jeremy started shooting seriously in his adolescence while traveling extensively throughout the world with his family. His father encouraged him to shoot with the familyʼs single lens reflex camera and built a darkroom for him in an unused portion of their Chesapeake Bay home. Jeremy holds a BA from Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, California. He has worked as a freelance photographer and has traveled on assignments extensively for over 25 years, gaining recognition and winning national photography awards for images created for corporations, universities, medical institutions, museums, and other institutions such as WR Grace Chemical, Mobil Exxon, Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, and the Baltimore Museum of Art. He now is an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Austin Community College.
