About the Book
Sightseeing is all about searching for something new and exotic. It is a form of appropriation, where the tourist attraction or landmark becomes my property, my knowledge, my experience.
Tourists or sightseers are the 'Sights Unseen'. The tourist looks, but he is rarely looked at.
In this book the tables are turned. The camera is moved away from the tourist hotspots and on to the tourists themselves.
Are places more interesting than people?
