Aage V Skaaret works and lives in Tangen, in Hedmark county, Norway. His pictures express in one way what we can see through our eyes, but they also manage to create their own world based on non-verbal communication between the viewer and the picture. It incites us to relate to our dreams, longings, sorrow and happiness. He makes us see the motive in new ways, whether it is a vase or a mighty mountain. By a constant search for motives and the development of new techniques that fit that specific motive, he has managed to create his own personal expression. Aage V has had exhibitions several places in Norway; among others in Reimannsgaarden in Grimstad, Norsk Skogmuseum (Norwegian forest museum) in Elverum, Galleri NK in Lillehammer, Hamar Sagbladfabrikk, Henie Onstad kunstsenter in Oslo, Galleri Albin upp in Oslo and Nordic Light international festival of photography.
