INTRODUCTION

It is my pleasure to share with you “In Character”, a collection of my drawings that focuses on character development. This sampling of images, many of which come directly from sketchbooks, will give you a glimpse into how my thoughts evolve and a character’s personality begins to emerge. The discovery of each character's unique identity is a magical process. It involves an exhaustive amount of sketching coupled with a cautious sense of optimism. There is nothing more gratifying than experiencing that moment when the personality you were striving for is revealed.
