Photographs of people on the streets of New York City taken by Herb Edwards from 1966 to 1968.
I was born in Brownsville, PA in 1940. I have an BFA from The University of New Mexico and an MFA from Pratt Institute. I taught for 19 years at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey. In 1989 I retired from teaching to concentrate my full time and energy on painting. My painting subject matter consists mostly of figures in the environment, still life and the landscapes of New Mexico, Cape Cod, New Jersey, and Maine. I reside on Cape Cod with my wife, the expressionist painter Lillia Frantin.

Hello! I'm so impressed by your photography book! Especially these photos from New York are really stunning, and inspired me, because I like this town so much that my first exhibition will be devoted to New York.
Wish you all the best!
