The 2007-2008 school year was a wonderful year for Burlington-Edison High School athletics. In each of the three sports seasons at least one team played in a championship game. This year the Tiger fastpitch softball girls went farther than they had ever gone before. They compiled a 22-5 record, won the conference title, then won the district title, and finished the year by placing second at state. The girls played hard and earned every victory as a TEAM.
