About the Book
Outdoor Living is a select collection of my work focused on travels and adventures that are mostly of Idaho roots with some Northwest travels sprinkled about like wild flowers.
This collection spans five years, 2006-2011, and three cameras. It shows my growth in digital photography as I move from an amateur Kodak all-in-one digital camera to a Canon 5D SLR with an L Series 24-105mm lens with the occasional Olympus Stylus Tough Point and Shoot.

Photography is an inner love for me. It is a way for me to connect my spirit to the world and share how I see the world with those around me. It's a constant with me like a worn Linus blanket. I think I was 8 or 9 when I got my first camera with the square flash bulbs. I took photography classes in high school and college. I struggled with retiring my Mamiya film camera for a digital camera. A whole new world. Pros and Cons. Now I've fully embraced the digital art. I lament those days of lingering in a dark room for hours but rejoice these days of instant gratification.
