Dr. Matthew Giobbi is a photographer and professor of media & culture studies living in New York City. His first book, A Postcognitive Negation: The Sadomasochistic Dialectic of American Psychology was published by Atropos Press in 2010. Giobbi is the Erich Fromm Research Associate at the European Graduate School in Switzerland.
