About the Book
While honoring the historical significance of MCS, this design transforms the structure from a painful memory to an inspiration for 21st century innovation and sustained growth. This project intends to infuse post-modern architectural design influences, dynamic mixed-use spatial design and sustainable building materials into a redeveloped single structure containing the following elements: a high-speed rail station, a world class museum, a five star hotel and two novel restaurants. The transformed structure will not only be a place of transport, but a place of destination.
