An Artist's Inspiration: The Village of Warwick, NY
by Plein-Air Paintings by Janet Howard-Fatta
This is a series I did in 2011. I painted 30 days in May in a 3 block radius in downtown Warwick Village. It is such a charming village, and I enjoyed spending more time there, especially talking with people on the street who I normally would not meet.
Each painting was created in two hours. Sometimes it was raining, sometimes it was morning, night, afternoon....
Each of these paintings are 9" x 12", oil on panel.
I'm a fine artist living the Hudson Valley. I work in a variety of mediums including: watercolor, oil paints, silkscreen, linocuts and lots of drawing.
