Described by writer David Bolt as "subversive," this catalog surveys the work of artist Fred Danziger from his student experience in the 1960s into the 21st century.
The work changes dramatically with the times, from the Vietnam war era, to post 9/11 and into the economic turmoil of 2008.
Self described as a "working class" artist, not a "darling of the Kunsthalles," Danziger has produced a body of "quirky realism" which includes muses such as The Lone Ranger, Einstein, highly rendered urban street scenes and a unique viewpoint on natural landscape art.
