This book was written and illustrated for the birth of our beautiful niece Alexandra. The weekend before she was due to be born we spent in the Blue Mountains just out of Sydney, and we were inspired to create a story about the wildlife of our home in Australia.

After high school I studied fine arts in Florence, Italy, for 18 months, before returning to my hometown of Auckland, New Zealand, to study Environmental Engineering and Art History.
