Open Your Eyes and Listen Life Lessons Learned
Three of the most difficult things to learn on this journey from cradle to grave is learning love yourself with all of your faults, learning to forgive yourself when you screw up or hurt others without just cause and learning that forgiveness is love being renewed.
While they are concepts that I struggle with everyday, they are also ideals that have kept me focused during some of the most difficult periods of my life. Memorable periods that lead to my revising Open Your Eyes and Listen and publish it again as two books in one with the second book being titled REDEMPTION.
By visiting those principles through the poems contained in this collection, I hope, you will pay closer attention to your family relationships, some of the issues that challenge our society, examine more closely your spirituality and remember that love blanketed with forgiveness is the only way we can find our home if we get lost on life’s highway.
