Viet Nam, a Visual Dialogue,1992-2009 is a large format book of fine black and white photographs documenting contemporary Viet Nam. The book also includes my journal of 1999, traveling by motorcycle duringTyphoon season. I believe that my photographs reveal a respect for quiet hard working Vietnamese citizens, their land, and their great heroic heritage.
If you have been to Viet Nam, I hope this visual record of the country and its citizens will bring back good memories, or perhaps erase some bad ones.
If you have not been to Viet Nam, this book will make you want to experience the country for yourself. For one-half the price of just one fine exhibition quality print, you can purchase Seven Watermelon Seeds, a 238 page, hard bound book with dust cover which includes a simple full page map of Viet Nam, 159 photos, and my sixty-two page journal.
