To every kid that’s becoming a teenager, the idea of being random is the pinnacle of awesomeness; In a Nutshell is pretty much about random as it is awesome. Tweens are inquisitive creatures, and seem to retain information best at a time when they are not within the classroom environment. The articles teach tweens various interesting things from making the perfect cup of tea or sewing on a button to declaring that some chickens can recognise faces, meaning that any unsuspecting parent would purchase this from a bookshop under the assumption that it’s, like, educational or something.
But, in the end, everyone is a bit of a nutter.
