Photographic images of the destruction caused by the earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand from the first 7.1 magnitude quake on 4 September 2010 through to 4 September 2011 when the “White Lights of Hope” shone over the city. Many of these images have been created with HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography and processing which uniquely captures the tragic ambiance and sombre feelings of the situations depicted in each image.
