About the Book
Alan Dixon was born in May 1955, in the North East of England, and taken into care shortly after. At the age of 7 he was fostered out to Billie and Katie Dixon, from whom he took their name.
As with many men on reaching 40, Alan looked back on his life in an effort to make sense of it all recording his journey in drawings, paintings, songs and verse.
Now happily married for almost 40 years, with 3 daughters and 11 grandchildren, Alan felt that some of his work may be enjoyed by men of a similar age with a not dissimilar background and also women who have an interest in the thoughts of men.
Journeys End is published to compliment Alan’s autobiography ‘Manboy Geordie’ which can be found online at:
