An illustrated children's book of one baby girl's birth and adoption. And Thea Makes a Family details the exciting journey of her soon-to-be adoptive mom and dad from New England who travel to North Carolina on the Fourth of July to meet their new baby girl in the birthing room and welcome her into their family.
Bob has published 3 plays with JAC Publishing (www.jacneed.com): Star Bright, another adoption-themed piece, Super Cooper and Philosophical Differences, which won Honorable Mention from Writers Digest. He has written 3 screenplays, one of which, Enemy Within, also received a Writers Digest Honorable Mention. He graduated cum laude as an English major from Tufts University, during which time he wrote for the Tufts Observer and the Akron Beacon Journal in Ohio as an intern. He later worked as an editor for Xerox/Ginn, and as a social worker / director of a children's outreach program outside of Boston. For over 20 years, he has run EGS Elite, a successful retainer-based search company for high tech executives and top 10% SW and HW architects. Bob was Founder of a community theater, the Gazebo Players, which performs annual Shakespeare-in-the-park productions; and has directed, produced and acted for many years. He and his wife Sharlotte are the proud parents of Thea and Charlie.
