For over 30 years, the foundation has been uncovering the mysteries of marine animals and telling their stories in novel ways. Sales of this book go to the support of ongoing projects of the foundation.
Rob Butler is a scientist, author and artist who has spent a lifetime studying birds. He has been a government scientist, professor, naturalist, and eco-tour leader. Rob is a Fellow of the Explorers Club and American Ornithologists Union. He has won numerous awards for his research and conservation effort. He is coordinating a bird atlas project in British Columbia for Bird Studies Canada and he serves as President of the Pacific Wildlife Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to conducting original research presented in novel ways about marine life in the Pacific Ocean.
