The Lignum Tangle (A4 size)
secrets of the workhorse of Australian river floodplains
by Anne Jensen
About the Book
Lignum is the forgotten plant of the Murray-Darling Basin floodplains but it is a critical part of the riverine ecosystem. Anne Jensen shares everything she learnt about lignum in her PhD study, including the habits and features of these important shrubs and their amazing life history. There is also a smaller, slightly shorter version of the book (see smaller size).
Ecologist Dr Anne Jensen combines her professional interest in wetlands and rivers with her personal interest in photography and history while visiting many interesting places. Her husband’s interest in clay target shooting takes them to international destinations off the beaten tourist track, and Anne explores and photographs the local natural and historical sites. Her books share her journeys of exploration and discovery, with evocative photographs which highlight the beauty of places visited, with a special interest in local wetland sites.
