About the Book
Written between 1999 and 2010, these selected poems take you upon a journey from California to South Carolina through nature, Indian culture and love. Travel with your heart through distant lands and experience a spectrum of emotions culminating in a celebration of the joyousness of our creative spirit and the beauty of a timeless love.
Poet, painter and filmmaker Kavita Bali was born in Allahabad, India and moved to the United States at age six. 'Dancing, Creative Souls' is Kavita's first collection of poems including the audience favorite, 'The Horseman Has Come', a tribute to her grandmother.
Bali recently moved to Portland, Oregon where she hopes to re-establish her Contemporary Fine Art & Design Studio, Urban Peacock. Stay tuned for further details in 2013.
